I have recently started reading The Back of the Napkin: Solving Problems and Selling Ideas with Pictures (which I will be posting a review of further down the track) and I was browsing Dan’s site Digital Roam and came across the following you tube video of Kermit the Frog. Its a brilliant piece from 1966. I also came across it on Vol. 2: design-management where Ralf Beuker used it as a reference between design and management. And it got me thinking. If all those managers out there who are now about 45+ were watching this muppets episode, why is it we still have such a rift between management and design in so many places? Its amazing that so many lose their creativity and visual thinking in only a few short years after they have been busy using it and having it nurtured by such greats as Kermit.
