Ponoko – Integrate custom electronics into your prototypes the easy way

I just received an interesting email from Derek Elley, one of Ponoko’s founders, about a new service they have launched - the ability for Ponoko users to custom make electronic products.
Since day one I have been impressed by Ponoko, it’s a fantastic service, however this new innovation really takes the cake. It opens up the possibilities massively to what you can prototype or produce as a designer via Ponoko.
As a designer it has always been painful to have to source services like laser cutting and then source electronics components from various places to put into your prototype, so a service like this just makes it that much easier, it’s all in the one place. Plus you have a great community of fellow makers and designers through Ponoko’s existing platforms. I mean what more could you want?…hmm maybe we should ask Derek and the team for a Ponoko rotational molding service?
Anyway I am pretty excited by Ponoko’s new custom make electonics service so check it out via this here handy link. A side note: I haven’t used the new service yet (but it sounds super exciting and I’m keen to test it). If you have used it already drop a comment below with your thoughts on it.
