So far Link Love has been design droplets’ regular, weekly, easy to digest post that also allows you to expand your knowledge of what else is on the web. This has worked well since the launch of design droplets and we will definitely be continuing Link Love. However in order to mix it up and further expand your Industrial Design knowledge in 2009 we are bringing in a new regular post called Did You Know?
Did You Know? will be be published twice monthly and will feature a smorgasbord of interesting tidbits of Industrial Design information (both past and present), to enable you, dear reader, to expand your already huge knowledge of Industrial Design and its related fields.
And now without further ado, I am proud to present to you, the very first design droplets Did You Know?
Marcel Wanders, the superstar Dutch Industrial Designer, famous for designs like his Knotted Chair for Droog Design (The chair that ‘started it all’ for Wanders) was estimated in the October 2008 edition of Fast Company Magazine to be worth over $US200 Million.
