Brief: Royal Philips Electronics invites industrial designers from around the world to participate in the 2010 Philips design competition. The theme of the competition is ironing using ‘Ironing Steam generators’.
Prizes: $4,500 Cash Award + Autodesk Alias Design software

Loving Outdoors, Product Design Competition: Seat – Table – Shading system
Deadline: 30 November 2010
Brief: The different elements included in the construction should have similar morphological approach. The different elements (seat – table – shading device) can be an integrated construction or they can be separated. The construction must be suitable for use at a private or public place.
Prizes: 1st – 3000 €, 2nd – 1500 €, 3nd – 500 €

Brief: Create the next iconic Threadless tee!
Prizes: $10,000 each to THREE designers: one previously printed, one unprinted-but-submitted, and one first-time submitter.

Play for All

Submission Deadline: January 3, 2011
Brief: Go Play!, an international non-profit that promotes the importance of play for children in the developing world, is sponsoring a design competition to promote innovate playground designs. The winning design will be built for a school for refugee children along the border of Thailand and Burma (Myanmar).
Prizes: The winning design team will win a total of $1000USD towards travel costs to Thailand to direct the building of their design with the help of Go Play!’s project manager.

Brief: Simply enter your 3 best pieces of design work in 2D, 3D or Multimedia for your chance to win international traveling scholarships.
Prizes: The Collie Print Trust Award and the Fabrica Award, for 2 weeks of design experience include airfares and accommodation for 2 weeks.
