One Year On - A retrospective on Design Droplets first year

As you may know I created Design Droplets on the 15th of October 2008 and it was just “a drop in the proverbial ocean of the internet, [that I hoped would] make some ripples and even waves as time passes.”

I think it has made some small ripples, although we certainly aren’t up to the level of making waves just yet. But I am sure this will come in the future.

In this retrospective I would like to share some histroy, have a look at some of our most susccessful articles and also share some my perosnal favourites. You might also be interested to know that is the 200th post on Design Droplets.

Histroy

Pre 15th October 2008

Prior to Design Droplets I ran a podcast series with Julian Faelli (who you will know as the host of our first video cast and owner of melbourne based Xamtaf) called Melbourneid. This podcast series died a premature death due to other things in our lives taking over, however it was partly where I got the inspiration to start Design Droplets.
