Design Droplets started off with quite a bit of American focused content as US designers are already quite comfortable with the web and easily accessible, where as Designers in Australia are not. I will explore doing some articles on Uni courses. As for Design Consultancies we do currently have one article on JONESCHIJOFF. The other Australian consultancies are no so receptive to having articles written on them... I think mostly because they are used to established print magazines as oppose to new media online magazines like Design Droplets. I contacted quite a few but it was either no reply or a flat no thanks. Thanks for your feedback on what you would like to see on Design Droplets. If you should ever have any design news to share, don't hesitate to email us. Please keep in contact.

@ Liam – More locally focused content is currently in the works, although instead of being purely Australia it will be Australasia focused, as the design scene in Australia is just to narrow. I wouldn’t mind seeing design droplets head in a more localised direction with more focus on ID in Australia. There are plenty of design blogs on the web already that cover everything American and European, but there’s not much info regarding the scene in Australia. (DIA could also do a better job at this). Maybe some articles on University courses and design consultancy reviews.

What about a bit more local design news?
