Myself and all the contributors here at Design Droplets really LOVE comments. Comments are as important as the articles themselves. They add to the discussion, create shared knowledge, create interaction and help build the Design Droplets community.
So if you want to leave comments, we really encourage you to do so – please feel free to have your say.
However, in the interests of keeping Design Droplets neat, tidy and civil there are five simple guidelines.
1. Be critical if you need to be. In fact we encourage you to engage in robust critical and intellectual debate – but if you’re rude, it will be deleted.
2. Please use your personal name or initials, not your business name – using your business name just looks spammy.
3. SPAM is deleted. We use SPAM filters so that most of it is caught, but the tiny amount that does slip through is deleted ASAP.
4. Relevant links in comments are encouraged. If you’re commenting and want to point to a link on your own or someone else’s site that is relevant to the topic then please feel free to do so. This adds to the conversation and improves Design Droplets.
5. Irrelevant links are frowned upon – if you leave a comment with a link in it that has no relevance to the article you are commenting on or to any of the topics on Design Droplets, it will in all likelihood be deleted.
So if you can follow these five simple guidelines, then comment to your hearts content.
